Story Modes
Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories allows you to play through two story modes, which comprise of the basic story, where you play as Sora in a continuation to the original Kingdom Hearts, or ‘Reverse/Rebirth’, which only accessible after you beat Sora’s story, and allows you to play through a seperate story as Riku in the same time span.
The difference between the story modes isn’t large except the story modes. In Reverse/Rebirth, instead of building a deck, your deck is built for you for each world (which is usually VERY limited, to make it difficult), but, to help this, he gains a power called Dark Mode, which allows him to transform into his dark uniform and fight using all of his dark powers.
(You fight a Riku Replica which appears in Sora’s story in the same attire.)
