Original Characters

SORA’S STORY
Sora – The protagonist of the Kingdom Hearts series. He returns in this game during his ‘road trip’ at the end of the first game, and stumbles upon Castle Oblivion during his travels.

Donald- Donald returns in this game, but disappears later and is available to Sora as a summon through a card. His summon powers include: healing Sora fully, or unleashing a barrage of elemental attacks on the field.

Goofy – Goofy returns in this game, but disappears later and is available to Sora as a summon through a card. His summon powers include: rushing directly infront of Sora with his shield out, or spinning around the field, holding his shield out.

Namine – A young girl who draws out pictures as a sort of hobby. She is kidnapped by Axel and resides in Castle Oblivion for her entire appearance. Later on in the game, she is revealed a nobody witch who can mingle with memories, which she does to Sora (before he makes them right again). In Kingdom Hearts II, she is also confirmed to be Kairi’s nobody.

ORGANIZATION XIII

I. Xemnas, the Superior – The leader and founder of Organization XIII. He is never really ‘seen’ in Chain of Memories, but it has been confirmed that Xemnas is the hooded man that gives Sora the demonstration on cards in the beginning of the game. He is also an optional boss in “Kingdom Hearts: Final Mix”, also hooded. He wields a pair of lightsabers.

II. Xigbar, the Freeshooter – Xigar is a senior member of the Organization who appears in Kingdom Hearts II. His weapon is a sort of laser sniper rifle.

III. Xaldin, the Whirlwind Lancer – Xaldin, also known as the ‘Six Lances of the Whirlwind’, appears in Kingdom Hearts II. His weapon is, as mentioned, six lances, five floating around him as he wield one in his hand.

IV. Vexen, the Chilly Academic – Vexen is a scientist who appears in Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories. He is responsible for the creation of the ‘Riku Replica’, and is killed in the game by Axel. His weapon is a large ice shield he uses to his defensive advantages.

V. Lexaeus, the Silent Hero – Lexaeus is a character who appears in Chain of Memories, but only in Riku’s story. He wields a large, red, earth tomahawk.

VI. Zexion, the Cloaked Schemer – Zexion is another character who appears in Chain of memories exclusive to Riku’s story. His weapon isn’t released in Chain of Memories, since he is killed before using it, but is later shown in Kingdom Hearts II: Final Mix to be a sort of book.

VII. Sai’x, the Luna Diviner – Saix, who is treated as second to Xemnas in the Organization, appears in Kingdom Hearts II. He weilds a large claymore.

VIII. Axel, the Flurry of Dancing Flames – Axel, who utilizes a pair of chakram, as well as fire with the Assassin Nobodies under his control, appears in both Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories and Kingdom Hearts II.

IX. Demyx, the Melodius Nocturne – Demyx is a blonde musician from Kingdom Hearts II. He wields a large guitar, and does not really like fighting.

X. Luxord, the Gambler of Fate – Luxord, described by Jiminy Cricket as “a master of rhetoric”, appears in Kingdom Hearts II. He wields a deck of cards which he uses to transform or play games with others.

XI. Marluxia, the Graceful Assassin – Marluxia is lord of Castle Oblivion and Sora’s main antagonist in Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories. He wields a large, pink scythe and holds flowers as an element.

XII. Larxene, the Savage Nymph – Larxene conspires with Marluxia to overthrow Organization XIII by using Sora to achieve their ends. Larxene uses thunder to fight and wields knives held between her fingers and thrown as her weapons

XIII. Roxas, the Key of Destiny – Roxas was “born” when Sora became a Heartless in Kingdom Hearts. His name is an anagram of “Sora” with an “x” added. He is the newest and youngest member of the organization.
